God Will Provide
It's quiet now, the children sleep,
In the the dark, a mother's on her knees-
Her cupboards are bare.
But now her faith has seen them through,
After she does all she knows to do-
Knowing God has heard her prayer...
That the Lord will provide.
An older man who loves his son-
Each hasn't spoken to the other one.
Harsh words many years ago.
But how his faith has kept him strong.
All these years he's prayed that he'd come home...
He just knows, that God has heard his cry...
And the Lord will provide.
God will provide - more than we ask or think;
He knows the very hour of our need.
God will provide to show us through His love and strength
What only faith can see. God will provide.
Now all things work for the good,
Though at times you wonder how it could.
Your hurt seems larger than life.
But let His cross come into view
His promises are always there for you.
You'll see, if you trust and abide...
The Lord will provide.
The older man who loves his son
No longer needs to wait for anyone
There's a knocking at his door.
