CARL THOMAS Bio

Carl Thomas (born June 15, 1970 in Aurora, Illinois, United States) is an American R&B singer. He attended Aurora East High School. Although Thomas was originally part of The Formula , he is best known as an artist on Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment record label. His 1999 debut LP, Emotional featured the #1 R&B single "I Wish".

His second album, Let's Talk About It, was released March 23, 2004. No singles from this album charted. The album was hurt by the death of Thomas' step brother, Duranthony Evans. He was shot and killed in a drive by on Halloween night on Aurora's east side.This devastated Thomas, causing him to take time off from music and the promotion of his album.

His third album, So Much Better, was released May 30, 2007 and reached number 25 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
