Camilla Bio

"Camilla" or Camilla Marie (born Camilla Marie Beeput on 9 September 1984) is an English singer and actress. Born in Westminster and raised in Brent, both in North London, Camilla became known for participating in the first season of the BBC reality television series Fame Academy in 2002, before ultimately being eliminated. After Fame Academy, she went on to star as Maria in a production of the musical West Side Story at Leicester Haymarket Theatre, Money to Burn at London's The Venue, before starting work as a recording artist and writing and recording "Don't Hold Back", which features rapper Erick Sermon of the group EPMD, which was released on 28 August 2006. She appeared in the ITV1 series Footballers' Wives in a guest role as the girlfriend of closet gay footballer Noah Alexander. Camilla then landed the role of Rose in the London West End production of Daddy Cool, a musical based on the music of Boney M., at the Shaftesbury Theatre and European tour.
