Athena Cage is an American singer, producer and songwriter, currently based in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Athena Cage was born and brought up in Russellville, Kentucky. She was educated at the Western Kentucky University.

She started her music career as a background singer, working with several artists including Amy Grant and The Isley Brothers. She moved from Kentucky to Atlanta to pursue a music career. After an audition, she was signed as the lead singer of Kut Klose, a R&B girl group. She has been featured on three platinum albums, including two with Keith Sweat. Then in 2001 she went solo and that summer released the hit Hey Hey She also had a song featured both in the Save the Last Dance film and soundtrack entitled "All or Nothing".
