this song is about a girl who gets told by her "friends" that she is ugly (or not pretty) and however much she tries to look pretty (cover it up) her "friends" still try to put her down. her self esteem eventually lowers soooooo much and so she ends up cutting herslef. "mirrors tell the worst lies" In actual fact, the girl IS pretty but her "friends" dont like it...i think they might be jelous. The girl is called Svannah. the title Welcome To Savannah is saying like welcome to her life...this is how she lives...this is how her life is slowly ending...just because of how she thinks she looks.

This is soooo about a girl (Savannah) who is a back stabber (take out the knife) who thinks she the s**t and always goes and gets makeovers and does HORRIBLE things so whenever she looks in the mirror she has to "Cover It Up" duh.

This song is about people who get plastic surgery because they feel bad about themselves, then realise it didnt make them feel any better.

I think it's about people who do rediculious or risky things to make up for what they don't have, or the attitude that beauty and image is everything and the pressure it causes.

The meaning to me means... People like to hide in their eyes to have tem picture them selves as gorgeous but as they looked in the mirror they pick out everything that is wrong. So they cover it up. Then they do all this stuff to cover uop there imperfections and pretend like nothing is wrong. Then thy do the worst things as their shallow make over.
