All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
We can be like they are

Come on, baby, don't fear the reaper
Baby take my hand, don't fear the reaper
We'll be able to fly, don't fear the reaper
Baby, I'm your man

La la la la la
La la la la la

Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity
Romeo and Juliet

40,000 men and women everyday
Like Romeo and Juliet
40,000 men and women everyday
Redefine happiness
Another 40,000 coming everyday

We can be like they are

Come on, baby, don't fear the reaper
Baby, take my hand, don't fear the reaper
We'll be able to fly, don't fear the reaper
Baby, I'm your man

La la la la la
La la la la la

Love of two is one
Here but now they're gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear she couldn't go on
Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew and then disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared, saying don't be afraid

Come on, baby and she had no fear
And she ran to him, then they started to fly
They looked backward and said goodbye
She had become like they are
She had taken his hand, she had become like they are
Come on, baby, don't fear the reaper

All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper

I have liked this song since I was a kid. I liked how they used it in the remake of Halloween. The best lyric is the love of two is one.

This song is one of the most romantic ballads every constructed. Yes, it's about suicide, but not selfish suicide. Rather, love suicide as depicted in Romeo and Juliet. She had gone as long as she could without her love, and he appears with the angle of death and tells her to not be afraid. Just awesome how her lover's emotion can be felt through the vocals of the song. More so, how the instrumentals of the song, depict her emotional state of grieving.

Listen to this song LOUDLY in your car! The lyrics are great and so is the music. Long live rock 'n roll.

Something mystic or esoteric about these lyrics. I love em. The music is a perfect compliment to the lyrics as well

I personally don't think this song is about suicide but to not fear death and take it when it comes to you

I LOVE this song soo much. It is one of my all time favorites. His voice is perfect. I think it is about death(reaper).

I'm pretty sure this song is about suicide or death, but what does it matter? You gotta love the cowbell regardless!
