Could be wrong but to me this is a song about really caring about someone and wanting to stay together, but just knowing that it won't work ('you know this don't feel right') At first it was magical (I just met you I can read your thoughts) it was the perfect mix of knowing someone and still finding out about them (I'll keep you guessing keep you wanting more) and you let your guard down became vulnerable (show your beauty scars) It was never going to last but you wanted to be together because you loved who they were but you can't love who they pretend to be or who you pretend to be (Tear off the mask the face you hide is who we're missing)you started to change as people (one was turning one was standing still) but you will always love what was even if it didn't actually eventuate (I won't forget what was promised here). This song makes me sad, reminds me of my ex everytime, I think this song explains what he felt better than he could

this song is really cool i love it. Birds of Tokyo is an amazing band. i love all their songs and i love them. Plans is a really cool song and i love all the other songs they have written and sung. i hope they write some more amazing songs
