My wife dedicated this song to me after many abusive relationships from her past. Doctors weren't doing anything but pushin pills, and therapy wasn't doing their job, instead prefering to keep her just as she was, sucking money from the state and federal government, and using her misery to do so. An old axiom from the mental health system is:
"We promise to help you for life, so long as you promise to never get better"
Mental health is a joke. They don't help, they just use you to bleed this country of money. This is also why the new psych meds are so expensive. Gone are the days when the pharmaceutical companies have to do extensive testing to be sure medicines are safe. Now, they don't do the research (Thank you, GOP, and G.W. Bush for gutting out everything that kept us safe, and giving the corporations free hand to do as they wish, kill wolves, pollute the air and water, and poison our world for a profit), and use us as guinnia pigs.

everytime I hear this song I am reminded of the time I met a very special person in my life; he is so inspiring to me, just like this song.

Beyonce, I have had walls built up in my heart for so long. I finally found the love of my life, and this song just fits everything I could ever say to him. This song is wonderful. It says so much so quick. Every time I get the courage to listen to it, I cry. The first time I heard this song was on May 24, 2009. I was on the way to my boyfriend's funeral visitation. This song reminds me of him because he was and still is my saving grace. Tears begin to roll down my face uncontrollably when I hear the music. He was a football player. He is number 74. He loved football and his car very much. Thank you, Beyonce for recording this song. This song helps me make it through the day, it has had a profound affect on my life since the death of my always remembered football player, best friend, and boyfriend. Thank you so much.
