The Black Flag-style gang vocals and busy guitar chord-density hold up “Yes I” while the extreme vocal experimenting a la Mike Patton cut it back down, unfortunately. While it may still work well live, or for veteran (read: aging) fans, it’s objectively distracting from the message of “tribal war.”
